�? About the Role:

We are looking for a confident and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Hull! If you have experience in Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Court Work, and Public Law Outline (PLO), this could be the perfect role for you.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with vulnerable children and families, managing a manageable but complex caseload. You'll be expected to hit the ground running and provide support where it's needed most, ensuring the best outcomes for children in need.

?? Key Responsibilities:

  • ?? Manage a complex caseload of children and families with varying needs, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • ?? Court Work & Child Protection: Attend court hearings, provide assessments, and complete child protection plans.
  • ?? Public Law Outline (PLO): Lead on PLO cases, ensuring all documentation and reports are submitted accurately and on time.
  • ?? Collaborative Work: Partner with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare, education, and legal professionals.
  • ?? Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

�? Essential Skills & Experience:

  • �? Qualified Social Worker with valid HCPC registration.
  • ?? At least 3 years post-qualification experience in CIN/CP work, Court Work, and PLO processes.
  • ?? Strong knowledge of current child protection legislation and legal frameworks.
  • ?? Excellent communication and report-writing skills for court documentation and case updates.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.

? Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience attending court hearings and giving evidence.
  • Familiarity with Looked After Children (LAC) processes.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and confidence.
