We are currently supporting a public sector organisation in the Yorkshire & Humber region that is seeking a forward-thinking ETL Developer to help modernise and enhance their data infrastructure.
This role will focus on redesigning and refreshing existing ETL pipelines, which currently use a combination of Python and SSIS, to support the transition to a new centralised data warehouse. The successful candidate will play a key part in migrating these pipelines to Azure Data Factory and providing ongoing support and iteration.
Key Responsibilities:-
Redesign and develop new ETL pipelines to support modern data warehousing.

Migrate and refine existing pipelines from on-premise solutions to Azure Data Factory.

Access and work with SQL Server databases, including writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

Support and maintain both new and existing ETL processes.

Structure and prepare data to optimise performance and enable deeper insights.

Proven experience writing new ETL pipelines.

Strong understanding of data structuring for performance and analytical use.

Confident in working with SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL and stored procedures.

Experience refining, modernising, and migrating ETL pipelines.

Ability to provide system support and continuous improvement to existing solutions.
