Reed Education is working closely with a group of warm, welcoming, and well-resourced SEN schools across Hull, and we’re looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team.About the Role:These schools cater for a wide range of needs, including autism (ASC), moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and complex communication needs. You’ll be working in small, nurturing classes alongside experienced staff who are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with their learning on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
  • Assisting with personal care where required
  • Encouraging emotional regulation, independence, and positive social interaction
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide holistic care

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (essential)
