Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. We're looking for a full-time, Transport Planner to join us at our site in Hull. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Managing Daily Computer Systems: Overseeing transport operations and ensuring systems run smoothly.
Customer Service Liaison: Communicating with customer services to ensure seamless operations.
Driver Support: Assisting drivers with daily queries and challenges.
Route Planning and Dispatch: Organizing and optimizing driver routes for efficient service delivery.

What you need to succeed with our client:

Previous transport experience.
Having a full UK driving licence is preferred as the hours may be outside of public transport.
Basic understanding of driver hours and planning. Knowledge of driver working hours, schedules, and regulations.
Good knowledge of computer systems
Great customer service skills
