Kesselmann Plumbers is a small, well-established plumbing and heating business based in Hull. We provide reliable and professional services to homeowners and landlords throughout East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. We're proud of our reputation for quality work and friendly service, and we're now looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role, primarily focused on the servicing and repair of gas boilers and central heating systems. You'll also be involved in a wide range of plumbing, heating, and gas servicing, maintenance, and installation work.
As a small team, we all pitch in to get the job done. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and willing to work across the full range of services we offer.

Main Duties Will Include:
- Servicing and repairing gas boilers (occasional assistance with installations)
- Servicing, repairing and installing gas fires
- Installing gas cookers
- Heating system repairs and upgrades
- Plumbing repairs, including leaking taps, toilets, shower valves, and general leaks and breakdowns
- Installing electric showers, taps, toilets and other general plumbing fixtures
- Carrying out gas safety inspections
- Servicing and repairing unvented hot water cylinders
- Taking part in the company's out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in every 4)
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a plumbing and heating role
- NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in Plumbing
- Valid gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 & CPA1
- Full UK driving licence
- Own hand and power tools (specialist tools such as gas analysers will be provided)
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to work across all job types
