Fabricator / Welder
Full-Time | Permanent | £16.50 per hour + Overtime + Benefits
Location: Based in Hull, with occasional travel required

Our client is a established and growing engineering business is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join its experienced workshop team. The company specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of bespoke mechanical equipment for a diverse range of sectors.

From structural fabrications to heavy-duty mechanical systems, the role offers exposure to a variety of projects and long-term progression for the right individual.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Fabricating and welding a wide range of bespoke mechanical equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using MIG and MMA welding techniques (experience with other methods beneficial)
• Completing hot works and fabrication tasks to a high standard
• Occasionally working away on site (expenses and accommodation fully covered)
• Working both independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications in Fabrication and/or Welding
• Proven experience in a similar fabrication role
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on your own initiative
• A diligent, safety-conscious approach to your work
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Flexible approach to travel and site work when required

What’s On Offer:

• £16.50 per hour minimum

• Overtime available:

  • Weekdays & Saturdays @ time and a half

  • Sundays & Bank Holidays @ double time

• 40-hour work week: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
