Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator based onsite in Hungerford. This role is crucial as they prepare for a transition due to a pending retirement. You will be instrumental in providing top-notch customer service, supporting our Area Sales Managers, agents, and customers, and coordinating with the workshop on product delivery. This position is ideal for someone with a knack for technical details and a passion for customer interaction.
Day-to-day of the role:- Efficiently process orders, prepare technical/commercial proposals, and produce reliable quotations.
- Progress outstanding quotations to ensure order targets and forecasting requirements are met.
- Provide robust support to Area Sales Managers and customers, ensuring smooth product delivery by liaising with the workshop.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies in all aspects of your role.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance workflow processes.
- A technical qualification such as ONC in Mechanical Engineering, or A Levels in maths/science.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence.
- Strong communication skills and IT proficiency.
- Proactive ownership of tasks and the ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute effectively to the team.
- Experience in the manufacturing and engineering industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Onsite working but potential to go hybrid after 6 months (3 days in-office, 2 days home-based).
