Are you a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher looking for your next role? We are currently seeking an experienced English Teacher to join a thriving school in Hungerford. This is a full-time position starting in September until July 2026, and we are committed to finding the right person for the role. Our client school may accept someone on a part time basis, 3-4 days per week if they can display the right skills for the job. Pay will be based on pay scale but will begin for an ECT at £155 per day up to M6. This long term role will include full duties.

The ideal English Teacher will have a passion for teaching Literature and a strong track record of engaging and inspiring students in their learning of English. They will have excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills and be committed to supporting the school's ethos and values. There is an opportunity for a permanent job with the school directly if things go well.

Key Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential if you have proven experience of teaching English* Relevant degree and teaching qualifications* Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level* Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills* Experience with teaching Language and Literature up to KS4* Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students* Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
