A well?established charity is seeking a Finance Assistant to support its Finance Team with accurate transactional processing across sales ledger and cashbook activities. This role has become available due to an internal promotion and within the role you will report into the Financial Controller.

As the incoming Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role within the team and be tasked with the following duties, including:
  • Raising and processing sales invoices and resolving customer or local authority queries.
  • Posting daily bank journals, downloading statements, and completing bank reconciliations.
  • Supporting cashflow monitoring and short?term forecasting.
  • Assisting with month?end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations and general finance administration
As the successful candidate for this role, you will have strong experience working in a similar Finance Assistant position, with good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and accounting processes/procedures. You will also be AAT Level 3 or equivalent, and have strong system and excel skills. Other attributes you will possess include excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
