About the Role

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing Audio-Visual installation and service company based in Huntingdon, is looking to appoint a Trainee AV Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager, hands-on, and keen to learn. AV experience is beneficial but not essential — full training and development will be provided, with clear progression to a full AV Engineer position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting engineers with AV installations, servicing, and maintenance
  • Assisting across on-site projects throughout the UK
  • Learning to configure, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment
  • Working in diverse environments — including homes, commercial sites, and marine vessels
  • Participating in occasional stay-away projects

What We’re Looking For

  • A motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and build a long-term career
  • Practical, reliable, and comfortable with hands-on work
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport (essential)
  • Any previous experience or interest in AV, IT, electrics, or similar fields is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel regularly and work occasional overnights
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required
