Driver - Class 2 & 7.5 Tonne

Salary DOE up to circa £33,000
We are proud to working in partnership with our Client, a market leader in their field, to recruit a Driver (7.5 Tonne & Class 2 options available) based in the Fenstanton & Great Staughton areas (Cambridgeshire). The successful Candidate will drive either 7.5 tonne or 18 tonne vehicles to distribute items such as agricultural products & equipment, alongside some warehousing duties including handballing in preparation for distribution.

The Role
The core responsibilities of a the Driver (7.5 Tonne & Class 2) will include; but not limited to:
- Loading & unloading your vehicle with company products and equipment.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of customer orders, utilising the most efficient routes.
- Assisting in the unloading and movement of stock within the depot.
- Safely operating a Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck (desirable).
- Administrative duties such as maintaining vehicle records, tachograph charts, order and delivery documentation.
- Supporting customers with enquiries, ensuring the customer experience and professionalism at all times, whether over the phone or face to face.
The Candidate
The ideal Driver (7.5 Tonne & Class 2) will be able to demonstrate:
- A customer centric approach with excellent communication skills.
- Health & Safety, fire safety & environmental awareness.
- Warehouse & stock management experience, including IT literacy.
- CPC licence & Digital Tacho Card.
- Fork lift truck licence (Counterbalance) - desirable.
- Driving licence (Cat C).
