We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a German speaking Export Sales Manager to join a highly successful, international designer and manufacturer of high quality, innovative products that are successfully exported across the globe. Language requirements for the jobFluent German and English is essential. Location of the jobHybrid working possible - Cambridge office + regular travel into Europe . Ideally you will live within 1 hour of Cambridge for regular office visits.Job responsibilities of the German speaking Export Sales ManagerYour role German speaking Export Sales Manager will be to mostly manage and develop their successful sales accounts and partners in Germany, as also as other key countries in Europe, especially Poland. Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Distributor and major account network management
  • Identify and develop potential new sales markets and opportunities in defined territory north and western Europe)
  • Travel regularly into the territory to visits existing client accounts and identify new sales
  • Manager regular market research
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions, both and an exhibitor and visitor
  • Regularly report on sales targets and progress

The successful candidate background

  • Fluent German and English is essential. Fluency also in Polish is a major advantage but not essential not essential
  • Ideally hold a university Business degree (or equivalent) or marketing qualification
  • Experience in a similar intentional export sales position
  • Strong work prioritization, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly competent in written and verbal presentation.
  • Experience of account management
