CNC Turners & CNC Millers
16-21 per hour
Day Shift | Four-Day Week (Mon-Thurs)

Impact Recruitment is looking for CNC Turners and CNC Millers to join a modern, well-run precision engineering outfit that values training, teamwork, and long-term progression.

The site is easily commutable from Bedford, Cambridge, St Neots and the surrounding areas.

You'll be setting CNC machines for efficient, accurate production, keeping things running smoothly on the shop floor and working closely with a friendly, experienced team.

The business has a clear training structure in place, so you'll continue building your knowledge while contributing to high-quality output from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set CNC lathes or mills accurately for production runs

  • Maintain safe, tidy and disciplined working practices

  • Support smooth workflow with basic troubleshooting

  • Use mechanical measuring equipment to verify components

  • Assist with quality checks and SPC tasks when needed

  • Communicate clearly across the team to keep operations flowing

What You Bring

  • CNC setting experience (turning or milling)

  • Confident using mechanical measurement tools

  • A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and resolve minor issues

  • Programming ability is a bonus

  • Experience with SPC or quality systems is beneficial
