About Us:Reed are currently working alongside a fantastic primary school in Brampton, Peterborough, the school is committed to providing a high-quality education and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all pupils. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the school in September and cover PPA lessons throughout the week.

Role Overview:The HLTA will be responsible for covering classes in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), ensuring that pupils continue to receive engaging and effective lessons during teachers' PPA time. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the UK curriculum, excellent behavioural management skills, and prior experience working with KS1 and KS2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2 during PPA time.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Support pupils' learning and development in line with the UK curriculum.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure continuity and consistency in pupils' education.
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent behavioural management skills.
  • Prior experience working with KS1 and KS2 pupils.
