We are working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to support with it’s capital investment programme. They are crucial interim positions for the organisation to support performance during a key transitioning period.
With the pace and scope of change already stretching leadership capacity, these roles are designed for individuals who can step in, stabilise and strengthen capital finance performance without the need for close supervision.
The role will initially be for a period of 12 weeks, but likely could extend to 6 months until the changes are complete.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support capital programme financial performance reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Provide strategic financial insight and challenge to senior stakeholders across delivery areas.
- Enhance governance, controls and financial processes across large-scale capital projects.
- Integrate financial and operational data to improve decision-making and reporting to Exec and Board level.
- Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, analytics, and project accounting.
The Successful Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Background in infrastructure, utilities or other large, complex capital programmes is essential.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at senior level.
- Advanced technical capability -Â particularly SAP and Power BI.
