Key responsibilities of the role
- Lead internal audit assignments with high quality and consistency for senior review.
- Deliver on-site or remote audits.
- Present findings and advisory outcomes to clients.
- Plan audits with clients, aligning with risk registers and governance expectations.
- Manage time and budgets, including oversight of junior staff on assignments.
- Support business development through meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
What they are looking for...
- Internal audit experience within a accountancy firm (essential).
- ACA, ACCA, IIA Part-Qualified or Qualified.
- Experience working on audits of different sizes.
- Based in either Cambridgeshire, London or Essex.
- Excellent communication skills as this is a client-facing role.
