Russell Taylor group has a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager within the plant protection, biocide or pesticide industry to join our clients leading household name. Our client is looking for someone with previous NPD experience, aswell as an understanding of regulatory compliance and ability to understand the commercials of a product. They are also looking for a confident individual who enjoys speaking to people at all sort of levels.

Responsibilities
Leading new product development within the organisation, specifically for their garden portfolio.
Managing regulation and formulation of new product development
Lead innovation in chemical, non-chemical or horticulture.
Liaising with internal and external partners to ensure the successful progression on new products and be able to commercially justify new opportunities.
Continually driving improvements and innovative technologies.
Communicate with internal and external partners within the organisation.
Understanding consumer trends.
Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
The Person
Have previous experience working within the technical department of pesticides, biocides or plant protection. Agriculture/Crop Science would also be considered.
Previous experience working in new product development.
Have an analytical mindset.
Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working to set targets and timelines.
Will have excellent technical knowledge and work well with key stakeholders within the business.
