Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

£13.00 - £14.70 per hour

A nursery in Huntingdon is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2 or 3 qualification to join their team. This welcoming setting is seeking a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the EYFS to support the learning and development of young children in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child's individual needs.
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress and achievements.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the nursery.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
