We are looking for a committed Year 2 Class Teacher to work within a forward thinking, fun and high achieving primary school in the Huntingdon area. 

We are looking for someone who is available full time for this post which will run from January 2026 to July 2026. There is a possibility that the role will continue beyond this point.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 2 Class Teacher you will:

  • Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be a confident communicator and the ability to use your own initiative when required environment
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the teaching standards and professional code of conduct
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs

The minimum expectations for this role are:

  • You must hold qualified teacher status in the UK (QTS)
  • You must be able to provide two recent references to support your work with children
  • You must hold or be able to provide full DBS clearance (we can help you with this)
