I am currently recruiting for an exciting FMCG business who are seeking a Procurement Executive/Buyer to join their Purchasing team. With lots of flexibility and the chance to be part of a dynamic team, this role would suit someone who is keen to continue to develop & grow their Purchasing career!

Description
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies in the FMCG industry.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks to the procurement process.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries in line with company needs.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand in the retail sector
Profile
A successful 'Procurement Executive' should have:
- Proven working experience in procurement.
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- A knack for networking and building relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Job Offer
- A salary range of £32,000 to £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
