About the Role:
As a Science Teacher at this school, you will play a vital role in inspiring curiosity, fostering a spirit of inquiry, and nurturing a lifelong passion for science in the students. This fulfilling role involves:
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4), with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 (KS5) depending on your specialism and experience.
- Creating a stimulating and interactive learning environment, incorporating experiments, demonstrations, and technology to bring scientific principles to life.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalised learning strategies to support individual needs and learning styles.
- Collaborating with a supportive team of science teachers, sharing best practices, and contributing to the department's ongoing development.
About You:
- You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- You have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Science and a passion for making science relevant and engaging for all students.
- You possess excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, creating a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- You are enthusiastic about fostering a love of science and inspiring students to pursue STEM-related pathways.
