About the Role:Reed are currently working alongside a fantastic primary school in Arbury - Cambridge. We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team on a full-time basis from September. This full-time position involves working closely with a Year 3 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 basis.  Your role will include:

  • Supporting the pupil throughout the school day with tasks set by the class teacher.
  • Monitoring and managing the pupil's behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Supervising the pupil during break and lunch times.
  • Creating reports on the pupils daily progress and reporting this back to the class teacher.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • UK address and right to work.
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
  • Experience working with SEN (Experience with ASD would be hugely beneficial).
  • Excellent behavioural and classroom management skills.
