HGV 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 TRUNKING ROLE - Bridgwater 

We are currently recruiting for temporary HGV Class 1 drivers TRUNKING role for our depot in Bridgwater. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Shift Patterns Available:

• Friday - Tuesday start 1700 
• Friday - Tuesday start 1800 
• Wednesday - Saturday start 2200 
• Wednesday - Saturday start 2300 
• Tuesday - Friday start 2200
• Tuesday - Friday start 2200

Day pay rates: 

• Monday – Friday  £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
• Saturday £17.85
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
• Saturday £20.39
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only! 

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
