A respected civil engineering contractor is hiring a Submissions Manager to join their pre-construction team. You’ll lead the development of high-quality tender submissions and PQQs for civil projects ranging from £5m to £150m.

This role is ideal for a bid professional with a background in civils or infrastructure, keen to shape bid strategy and play a visible role in project wins.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the full PQQ and tender submission process

• Coordinate with estimators, planners and technical leads

• Write, edit, and review content for quality and compliance

• Lead storyboarding sessions and contribute to bid strategy

• Maintain bid library (CVs, case studies, project info)

• Support interviews, site visits and marketing presentations

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years’ experience writing construction/civils submissions

• Strong copywriting and communication skills

• Civil engineering or construction background (contractor or consultancy)

• Highly organised, deadline-driven and detail-focused

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; InDesign a plus

• Degree-level qualification (preferred but not essential)
