Tradewind are currently looking to recruit an EYFS teacher for a school with a fantastic reputation in Hyde, Tameside. The role will commence September 2025 on a full-time basis. and comes with a competitive salary (MPS 1-6) which is reflective of your experience. Due to an increase in pupil numbers, the school are looking for an additional EYFS teacher to join the team and create an excellent cohesive early years environment where all pupils thrive.

About the Role

As the EYFS teacher, you and the team will be accountable for the learning and progress of approximately 30 children within a mixed ability class. There will be opportunities for both whole class learning, interventions with small groups and personal 1-1 support to ensure that all pupils in the EYFS class maximise their learning potential. The class includes some children with SEND needs so experience writing and reviewing EHCPs will be highly beneficial.

EYFS Teaching Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment for young children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate and engaging lessons based on the EYFS framework and foster a love for learning by incorporating creative and hands-on activities into lessons.
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic development in young learners.
  • Effectively manage and supervise children to ensure a safe and positive learning atmosphere.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress through assessments and observations.
  • Collaborate with parents to communicate student progress and address any concerns.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.

  • You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
