A well-established and growing metal fabrication and welding company is seeking a skilled and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II Inspector to join their team. As an NDT Level II Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of fabricated components through a range of inspection techniques. You'll work closely with fabrication and welding teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance, contributing directly to the delivery of high-spec projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections using visual weld inspection, radiographic testing (x-ray), and dye penetrant testing (PFD).
- Interpret test results to assess weld quality and structural integrity.
- Ensure all inspections meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and produce detailed reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with the latest NDT technologies and best practices.
- Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Requirement
- Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT methods (Level II or higher preferred).
- Proven experience in NDT inspection within the welding and fabrication industry.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
