A well-established and growing metal fabrication and welding company is seeking a skilled and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II Inspector to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-built facility with a company that values quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

As an NDT Level II Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of fabricated components through a range of inspection techniques. You'll work closely with fabrication and welding teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance, contributing directly to the delivery of high-spec projects across various industries.







Key Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections using visual weld inspection, radiographic testing (x-ray), and dye penetrant testing (PFD).
  • Interpret test results to assess weld quality and structural integrity.
  • Ensure all inspections meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and produce detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest NDT technologies and best practices.
  • Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.


Requirement

  • Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT methods (Level II or higher preferred).
  • Proven experience in NDT inspection within the welding and fabrication industry.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
