Engineering Fabricator

Sure Start Staff | Fabricator | Engineering | Temp-Perm | Hyde

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will fabricate and assemble bespoke pipework and fittings for the water and gas utility sectors. Confident in interpreting technical drawings, maintaining production targets, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role is in a Heavy Engineering environment and will involve tasks that are physically demanding.

Pay: 16.50 per hour

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7.30 am-4.30 pm (early finish Friday), 38.5 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from technical drawings.
• Use fabrication tools (MIG weld, seam weld, grinders, etc.).
• Inspect products for quality assurance.
• Meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate in team-driven continuous improvement efforts.

Skills Required:

• Experience in a fabrication role within manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Time-served apprenticeship is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Excellent timekeeping and initiative.
