Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals, you will assist in delivering personalised learning plans, managing behaviour positively, and helping students access the curriculum in a meaningful way. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in young people's lives.What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, ideally in a secondary school setting
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
  • A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays
