Location: Hythe, Kent
Salary: Up to 45,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 12pm

Your Role:
As the Factory Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our production operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll lead a talented team of 16 production staff, driving efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Your leadership will inspire excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate production staff to meet output and quality targets.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations at all times-keeping everyone safe is a top priority!
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure everything is in tip-top shape.
  • Resolve issues proactively and report any concerns as needed.
  • Evaluate, train, and coach production staff to help them thrive in their roles.
  • Monitor production metrics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with management on process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure materials are always available for production.
  • Foster a harmonious work environment by resolving worker issues with care and professionalism.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
  • Ideally, you have experience or knowledge of welding, fabrication, and CNC programming.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to inspire your team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities-your team needs to feel valued and heard!
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic computer literacy to manage reports and data.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
