The Role
This is a brand-new and urgent Factory Supervisor position with a growing, global manufacturer. You'll take ownership of a new top production line focused on gluing, laminating, and CNC cutting MDF into table tops. The line is being brought online now, with full production targeted for March, so they're keen to get the right person in quickly to help shape it from the ground up.

You'll work alongside another Supervisor initially, with clear scope to progress into a Factory Manager role as the site continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising and developing the new gluing, laminating, and cutting production line
  • Supporting installation, setup, and training on new machinery
  • Recruiting, training, and managing your own team of up to 4 operatives
  • Keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality targets
  • Troubleshooting day-to-day issues and improving workflows
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards
  • Tracking performance and feeding back to management
  • Driving continuous improvement as the line becomes fully operational

What We're Looking For

  • Proven supervisory or management experience in manufacturing (essential)
  • Experience with CNC routers or basic programming knowledge (strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on leadership style with confidence training and developing teams
  • Good understanding of production processes and machinery
  • Calm, practical problem-solver who can handle a start-up environment
  • Comfortable with basic systems and reporting
