Contract Type: Full-time (term-time only)
Salary: 88.95 - 104.71 per day

We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Hythe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

• Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.

• Create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, external professionals, and families to promote positive outcomes.

• Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills as well as academic progress.

• Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (school-based or other relevant settings).
