Are you looking to start a career in Project Administration? We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our South Cambridgeshire based client's Project Management team. This will be initially on a 6-month fixed-term contract, which could go permanent for the right person.
In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating project activities and providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of multiple projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers, fellow Administrators and team members across the business. This is the ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their admin career, looking to join a strong and developing team.
Responsibilities:
Supporting Project Managers with:
* Project start-up, close down and archiving
* Onboarding new project team members
* Cost tracking, forecasting, reporting and general admin
Supporting Project Teams with:
* Meeting coordination and minute-taking
* Travel booking and logistics
* Document formatting, control and filing
* Procurement support and materials tracking
* Data entry and change control documentation
Requirements:
* A good academic background (A-levels or equivalent)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to take initiative
* Team player who works well with others and supports collaboration
Desirable:
* Experience in a previous administration role
* Experience booking and coordinating travel
* Ability to manage document flows and conflicting priorities
* Experience with tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
