Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and helping residents navigate the complexities of parking regulations? Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Appeals & Resident Services Officer to join their Parking Management team in Ilford!

Key Responsibilities:As the Appeals & Resident Services Officer, you will:

  • Investigate and respond to inquiries regarding challenges, representations, appeals, and more related to Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs).
  • Craft high-quality responses that meet productivity targets while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Assess evidence critically to make balanced and informed decisions on each case.
  • Maintain knowledge of complex legislation to ensure compliance in all activities.
  • Communicate effectively with both residents and external organisations, ensuring clarity and transparency in every interaction.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Familiarity with parking regulations and the statutory PCN appeals process as per the Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • Skills:
  • - Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant databases.
  • - Capacity to manage and prioritise your own workload effectively.
  • - A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement.

Additional Information:

Core working hours are from 10 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility required.Training and development opportunities available through the Council's Apprentice Levy funding.
