Are you a driven and experienced MEP Design Manager looking to take your career to the next level? This M&E Contractor, a leader in delivering complex, large-scale construction projects, is expanding, therefore seeking a talented MEP Design Manager to join their dynamic team based in Dartford.
With an impressive portfolio across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and data centre sectors, this contractor has built a reputation for excellence in delivering high-performance building services solutions.

About the Role
As the MEP Design Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the MEP design team, ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems are designed, coordinated, and delivered to the highest standards across their projects. You will be responsible for managing the full design lifecycle from concept to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the MEP design process across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
* Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and external consultants to develop integrated and efficient building services solutions.
* Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal design teams and site engineers.
* Ensure all MEP design documentation adheres to current building regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
* Participate in design reviews, progress meetings, and client presentations.
* Work collaboratively with the Pre-construction and Project Management teams to support successful project delivery.

Requirements
* Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP design and coordination, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and relevant codes.
* Proven experience in managing large-scale and complex projects from design to handover.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
