About the role of Commercial Manager
As Commercial Manager, you will be joining an award-winning Developer who work across London. You will be based in their East London office where you will successfully manage the team. They have a turnover of over 1bn and are planning to continue to grow. Joining this UK house builder, is great for your career progression, especially if you are a Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities of Commercial Manager:
- Attend regular team meetings
- Provide advice to the team on resolving contractual disputes and legal matters in a timely manner
- Ensure high standards of cash flow forecasting
- Review project cash flows with team and present to Commercial Director
- Maintain positive and successful client relationships.
Key Requirements of Commercial Manager:
They are looking for a strong leader who has effectively mentored others in their role previously. You must demonstrate commitment, teamwork and integrity.
- Live within commutable distance to East London
- Experience in dispute resolution and contract administration at a Developer
- Experience in leading a commercial team
- Construction related degree is ideal but not essential
