The day would consist of a morning training session with our Executive Headteacher, Nigel, who regularly prepares our candidates when it comes to interviews. Nigel will go through all the expectations of what he looks for in support staff as well as the below:

Safeguarding and Prevent: What is safeguarding and prevent, how do schools safeguard their students, what is the role of a Designated Safeguarding Lead, what steps should you take if you are concerned about a student etc

Positive Behaviour Management: Discover effective strategies to manage classroom behaviour positively and constructively and how to fully support the teacher with difficult behaviour

Classroom Expectations: Understand the key expectations and responsibilities within a classroom setting.
