A highly regarded, multi-disciplinary building services consultancy based in Bexley is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing engineering team. Known for delivering innovative and technically robust solutions, the firm is involved in a wide range of landmark projects across the UK, Europe, and internationally.

Role Overview
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end design of electrical systems within buildings, working across commercial, healthcare, residential, education, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and a proactive approach to delivering excellence in design and client service.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and specification of low voltage electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, security, and data systems
* Carry out design calculations and produce detailed technical drawings and reports
* Liaise with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated design delivery
* Participate in design team and client meetings, contributing to technical decisions and project strategy
* Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
* Work on projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, deadlines, and client expectations

Requirements
* Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a consultancy or contractor environment
* Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, and preferably Revit MEP
* Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, BS7671, and CIBSE guidance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with international standards or overseas projects is advantageous
