Our client is an established food manufacturer, part of a larger global group, with multiple sites worldwide. Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for a new Electrical Engineer to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Be one of the Site Electrical Duty Holder, responsible for all of the plants electrical infrastructure
  • Planning the upgrade & maintenance of the medium & low voltage electrical power networks
  • PPM planning & improvement to electrical power distribution, transformers, PLC's, turbines, motors, VSD's, MV/LV switchgear
  • Provide hands-on electrical assistance and guidance
  • Work closely with the Site Electrical Manager on capital electrical projects
  • Continuous improvements, RCA, FMEA, long-term planning
  • Keep up-to-date with electrical legislation compliance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must be an experienced industrial electrical engineer
  • Beneficial if worked in manufacturing, but not essential
  • Previously have been a Site Electrical Duty Holder or Senior Authorised Person
  • Must have experience with PLC's, VSD's, Electrical Systems (up to 11KV), power generation
  • HND / Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship
  • Beneficial if worked in a ATEX / CompEX environment
  • Role would suit someone from power generation, power distribution (HV), petrochemical, oil & gas
  • Strong PPM and maintenance planning experience
  • Experience of managing CI capital projects
