RadiusisseekingaSeniorElectricalEngineerfortheirclientbasedinLondon.YoumusthaveexperiencewithcriticalinfrastructuresuchasUPS,AC/DC,Switchgearetc.

TheElectricalEngineerisresponsibleforassistingtheprojectteamwiththedeliveryandhandoverofDataCentres,reviewingandunderstandingofcommissioningplans,optimisingelectricalsystemstoprovideefficiency,quality,resilienceandreliabilityacrossessentialandcriticalsystems,ensuringthatallelectricalworksfollowlegislationandrelevantISOstandards.

Thisroleisresponsibleforprovidingelectricalengineeringservicesandguidanceonallof electricalsystemsandensurecorrectoperationwithintheDataCentrefacilitiesspecifications.

OverseeProjectdrawingsandspecifications,toensurecompliancewithalllegislation,andresponsibleforprojectdeliveryofelectricalinstallations,electricaldistributionandpowergeneration.

  • Responsiblefordraftingspecificationdocumentsfornewbuildandoranyotherelectricalprojects.
  • Responsiblethecommissioningofexistingupgradesandnewbuilds;leadingelectricalelementswhererequiredandthesign-offofelectricalsystems.
  • Create/collaborateoncommissioningtestscriptsforelectricalelementsforFATs,SATSandIST
  • OrganiseandattendanynecessaryFactoryAcceptanceTests(FAT)andwitnesselectricalSiteAcceptanceTests(SAT)
  • DocumentFATsandSATsprocessandprocedureinlinewithbestpractice.
  • ElectricalEngineeringDegree
  • ABTEC,HNC/HNDinElectricalEngineeringoranotherrelevantdiscipline
  • DegreeinElectricalEngineeringorantherrelevantdiscipline
  • 17thEditioncertifiedorsimilarelectricalqualification
  • Ideallyindustryormanufacturertrainingingeneratorcontrols,UPSsystems,ACandDCpower&switchgear
