Radius is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their client based in London.
Candidates must have experience with critical infrastructure such as UPS, AC/DC, and switchgear.
The role involves assisting the project team with the delivery and handover of Data Centres and ensuring compliance with legislation and ISO standards.
Applicants should have an Electrical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a salary of £60,000 to £75,000 per year.
Responsibilities include overseeing project drawings, drafting specifications, and leading commissioning of electrical systems.

TheElectricalEngineerisresponsibleforassistingtheprojectteamwiththedeliveryandhandoverofDataCentres,reviewingandunderstandingofcommissioningplans,optimisingelectricalsystemstoprovideefficiency,quality,resilienceandreliabilityacrossessentialandcriticalsystems,ensuringthatallelectricalworksfollowlegislationandrelevantISOstandards.

Thisroleisresponsibleforprovidingelectricalengineeringservicesandguidanceonallof electricalsystemsandensurecorrectoperationwithintheDataCentrefacilitiesspecifications.

OverseeProjectdrawingsandspecifications,toensurecompliancewithalllegislation,andresponsibleforprojectdeliveryofelectricalinstallations,electricaldistributionandpowergeneration.

Responsiblefordraftingspecificationdocumentsfornewbuildandoranyotherelectricalprojects.
Responsiblethecommissioningofexistingupgradesandnewbuilds;leadingelectricalelementswhererequiredandthesign-offofelectricalsystems.

Create/collaborateoncommissioningtestscriptsforelectricalelementsforFATs,SATSandIST

OrganiseandattendanynecessaryFactoryAcceptanceTests(FAT)andwitnesselectricalSiteAcceptanceTests(SAT)
