Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician

RGsetsquare are looking for a static Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician to work on health-care sites in east London area.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician - Static but driving licence required

• The main site on this contract is in Homerton and there are 2 other sites within close proximity.

• Responsible for planned, preventative and responsive maintenance. The types of work involve commercial electrical repairs, maintenance and light installation. This could involve Lighting - lamp changes, ballast changes, Emergency light testing, Electrical fault-finding, minor electrical works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits, fuses, transformers, circuit breakers and control panel maintenance. Other general maintenance as required.
• Previous experience working in this environment or other secure environments like prisons would be useful but all other commercial experience will be considered.
• There is no van provided for sole use but the candidate will need to have a full UK driving license, no more than 6 points and not been banned from driving in the past 5 years. They will have use of a pool van for when on-call, needing to go to one of the other sites, collect materials for example
• The position will also be subject to a DBS check (Standard Level) Would you be able to ask them to declare any unspent convictions please.
• Qualifications: Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th edition. Desirable would be test and inspect but this is not essential.
• Salary: Up to 21p/h PAYE
• They will be required to go on-call. Roughly 1 in every 5 weeks. Overtime paid for a minimum of 2 hours per call out at time and a half or double time if a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Core working hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
