- Financial analysis of savings programmes
- Costing savings proposals
- Supporting tracking of savings against run rates.
- Ensure financial compliance and risk management
- Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets
- Provide comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders
- Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements
- Collaborate with other department heads to achieve organisational goals
- Manage financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements

Profile
A successful 8A Senior Finance Manager should have:
- Efficiency programmes, costing and financial analysis.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous experince working within the NHS.
- Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Proficiency in financial software
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
