As a Desktop Supervisor, working for a main contractor within the Social Housing Sector you will oversee the daily operations of the operatives to ensure efficient and effective resolution the day to day reactive maitnenance. You will play a crucial role in supervising activities along with daily whip allocations and SOR code efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead operatives
  • Site Visits
  • SOR Knowledge
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular team meetings.
  • Develop and implement desktop management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Social Housing experience
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • SOR knowlege
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
