Pastry Junior Sous Chef Production
Working in a mid-level management role within the Pastry team for a high end restaurant and patisserie.
As a Pastry Junior Sous Chef, you will help to deliver consistently high standards of patisserie mis-en-place, the nature of the business means that the majority of the work is production focused. You work with the finest ingredients to create a range of classical pastry items and Viennoiserie.
The role of Pastry Junior Sous Chef:
- Work 5 straight shifts per week, early shifts from 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm.
- Spacious well-equipped kitchen with natural daylight.
- Work alongside the talented Head Pastry Chef to develop and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Help motivate and guide a team of pastry chefs, fostering a positive and work environment.
- Possess a strong eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene.
We are looking for a Pastry Junior Sous Chef who:
- Has experience as a Pastry Junior Sous Chef or Pastry Senior Chef De Partie in a high-end pastry kitchen, restaurant or hotel.
- Demonstrates a mastery of various techniques (cakes, tarts, mousses, chocolates, etc.)
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Has availability to work 5 days out of 7 (straight shifts), including weekends.
