Deputy Headteacher - September 2025

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful SEN school in Greenwich. We are currently recruiting for a permanent Head of Secondary (Deputy Headteacher) who can confidently lead aross KS3, KS4 and KS5 to start in September 2025.

About the role:

This is a full time role leading the School across Key Stage 3/4/5 students. The school is a full SEN school with around 150 students, half of which will be Secondary. You will be head of Secondary, equivalent to Deputy head and report to the Headteacher.

About you:

  • Have high expectations of your students

  • Have experience teaching Geography up to A-Level and be confident in leading curriculum development

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status, ideally with an Geography Specialism

  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with

  • Have a passion for working collaboratively and excitement to lead a large department
