We are seeking enthusiastic and driven English Graduate Teaching Assistants to support a variety of inclusive and forward-thinking primary and secondary schools across Southeast London. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational professionals, or those interested in literacy development.


About the Role:
You will be working alongside experienced teachers to support students reading, writing, and communication skills. Youll provide one-on-one or small group interventions, help pupils with SEN or EAL, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Assisting in English Language and Literature lessons (KS2-KS4)
Supporting students with reading comprehension and written expression
Leading or supporting literacy intervention groups
Helping prepare lesson materials and resources
Providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A degree in English or a related subject (2:2 or above)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in education and pupil development
A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach
Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
