EYFS Teaching Assistant

Reeson Education is looking for caring and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistants to join our flexible supply pool for primary schools across Waltham Forest. This is a brilliant opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who loves early years but wants the freedom to choose when they work.

Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford and nearby areas are regularly requesting experienced EYFS Teaching Assistants who can support Nursery and Reception pupils with early phonics, play-based learning, communication development and settling routines. Daily supply gives an EYFS Teaching Assistant the chance to experience a variety of EYFS classrooms while keeping a great work-life balance.

• Daily Rate: 82.14-100

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract: Daily supply, flexible days

• Location: Waltham Forest

• Qualification: Level 2/3 childcare desirable

• Support early learning through structured and play-based activities

• Assist with phonics, communication and early writing tasks

• Help children build social skills, confidence and independence

• Support personal care routines where needed

• Follow EYFS curriculum guidance with teachers and support staff

• Previous EYFS or nursery experience essential

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification preferred

• Confident supporting young children's early development

• Adaptable, friendly and patient

• Comfortable working across different Waltham Forest schools
