Graduate Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | SEN Focus | 82.14 - 100/day | September 2025

Reeson Education is recruiting a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across Waltham Forest from September 2025. This role is perfect for a graduate with an interest in SEN, psychology, or education, who is keen to gain first-hand classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or further study.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with additional needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH, helping them to access learning and thrive in the classroom.



Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Full-time, term-time only across schools in Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford

  • Support SEN pupils in EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored interventions

  • Daily pay: 82.14 - 100



What We're Looking For:

  • A Graduate Teaching Assistant with a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

  • Previous experience with children or young people (paid or voluntary)

  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a proactive approach to SEN support

  • A strong desire to make a positive impact on children's learning
