Graduate Teaching Assistant

Reeson Education is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, particularly those considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, or child development.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, providing classroom support, helping pupils with additional needs, and contributing to engaging, positive learning environments.

• Pay: 82.14-100 per day (PAYE)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Location: Across Waltham Forest (including Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford)

• Contract: Full-time or flexible supply work

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across core subjects

• Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils requiring additional academic or emotional support

• Help pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including autism (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

• Assist in maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere

• Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to pupil progress tracking

• A degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, English, or a related field

• A passion for supporting children's learning and development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, proactive, and positive attitude

• Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable
