We are currently recruiting Science Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a network of diverse and inclusive secondary schools across East London. This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring science teachers or graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience.


About the Role:
As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, youll work closely with teachers and students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons. Youll help deliver engaging learning experiences, provide targeted support, and play a key role in helping students develop confidence and enthusiasm for science.


Responsibilities Include:
Supporting the teaching of Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities available in some schools)
Assisting in preparing experiments and maintaining lab equipment
Delivering small group and one-to-one intervention sessions
Supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or those who need extra guidance
Helping to create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment


Ideal Candidate:
A recent graduate in a Science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field)
Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
A genuine interest in education, youth development, or STEM outreach
Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable, not essential)
An ambition to pursue a career in teaching or educational support
